Helen & Liam ~ Engagement Session Mullingar

On Sunday I headed out with my friend Helen and her soon to be husband Liam for their engagement photo session. Helen is a very good friend of mine and we met after she found me on Google when she was searching for a wedding photographer early last year.

Helen is a keen photographer herself and when she first contacted me she didn’t mention her own wedding but asked would I give her some photography lessons. I agreed and we quickly became friends long after her course of lessons was over and she asked would I be her wedding photographer. Now, a year on, we are closer than ever and her wedding is quickly approaching. I can’t wait!

We shot photos on the old platform of Mullingar railway station, at Captain’s Hill and a nearby wooded area. Helen was keen to try out my Fuji X100 so I gave it to her to snap some photos of Liam. I hope these photos show how sweet these two are.

The weather was fab and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday. Helen and Liam, I can’t wait for September. Your wedding is going to be the best!
