Susan & Ciaran ~ Engagement Session at the Guinness Storehouse

Late last year Susan and Ciaran booked me by phone and email from London for their July wedding in Mount Falcon, Ballina, Co. Mayo. We finally met up a month ago when they were in Ireland to arrange visits with all their vendors. They came into the meeting with a fair idea of what they wanted in their package and they thought an engagement session wasn’t necessary.

I always bring along a sample guest book for all my meetings and once they saw this and I explained what a session involves and how it helps to break the ice before the big day, they were hooked. They left the meeting so keen to have an engagement session that they made arrangements to fly to Dublin this weekend just to shoot the session. They had never been to the Guinness Storehouse before so they chose that as the location for their session. As a big fan of Guinness and the eye candy in the Storehouse, I have been there several times but never to shoot a session so I was delighted. It also worked out perfectly being indoors as it lashed with rain for most of the day!

Susan and Ciaran, see you in July for your wedding. I can’t wait!

Brilliant! I visited Dublin in 2009 and was amazed at how gorgeous the Guinness Storehouse is, and you captured that beautifully. I really love how you incorporated the signs. This whole set is just so awesome!

Such a great idea for an engagement shoot. I visited it a few years back and you did well with the tough lighting conditions inside. Glad to see you made it to the top for the free pint!
