There is so much I could say about Emma and Nico and their beautiful wedding that I wasn’t sure where to start. I have decided to let Emma speak and have included an excerpt from Emma’s initial email to me.
“My name is Emma and I am a close friend of Loretta and John, I am getting married on Thursday 4th August this year and Loretta told me to have a look at your work on your website – I am now a huge fan of yours and have spent hours looking at your site and admiring your amazing talent, I love photography and your style is exactly the type of photography I love!
I am dying to tell you a bit about Nico and I and what sort of wedding we hope to have, Nicholas (Nico) is from Zambia and we met while I was working as a volunteer there. He is now in Ireland studying for the year, his final exams are coming up next week. Anyway we are having two weddings, one in the County Arms Hotel in Birr on 4th Aug and one in Lusaka, Zambia on 20th.
Can you let me know if you are available on this date and if you would be interested in being our photographer? Thanking you and crossing my fingers!”
Well, thankfully I WAS available and we soon met up and agreed on a wedding photography package. Unfortunately, although they would have loved me to, it wasn’t in their budget to have me travel to Lusaka and shoot their Zambian wedding also but I will be thinking of them on the 20th and can’t wait to see the photos!
