I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph their Irish wedding and I really can’t wait! Emma keeps me updated with her wedding plans and I know her wedding is going to be very intimate and beautiful.

They decided on a travel themed engagement session to highlight all the travels they have made to see each other over the last few years and as their session fell on such a (rare!) gorgeous day we decided to visit a few local lakeside spots to shoot.

PS. Nico, I was VERY impressed with all your costume changes!

I was up for it, and as you can see from the images below, we had a fab day for it! We started out in George’s Street Arcade in Dublin where they bought cupcakes and soft drinks and then headed to Dun Laoghaire harbour for ice creams and a walk along the seafront. Next on the itinerary was a visit to Sandymount beach for a picnic with the goodies they bought before heading to O’Reilly’s pub in Sandymount for a quick game of scrabble and some images of the engagement ring. Lorraine is an avid basketball fan and player and Ian’s passion is rugby, so they changed into their gear and we headed out to the glorious garden of the pub to shoot some sporty shots.

After several hours shooting we were all tired but the session was a lot of fun. Thank you Ian for the pint – you were right – it was pretty damn perfect!
