Product Review ~ DVD Disc of High Resolution Wedding Photos

Today I am posting a review of the most requested item in my wedding packages, the high resolution DVD. Understandably, most couples today prefer to have their own copy of edited photos from their wedding day on disc. Although many couples choose packages with albums or add an album on afterwards it is nice to have your own copy of the images to keep and not be tied into buying prints of your wedding day from your photographer.
Included in every Rubistyle wedding package, and available on the à la carte price list, is a DVD disc containing edited, colour corrected high resolution photos from your wedding. Also included on the disc will be resized, web resolution images ready for you to post on Facebook, email to friends and relatives or post anywhere online. The disc comes in a stylish, custom designed case featuring an image from your wedding and also includes a print release which allows you to make your own prints at any photo lab.

Product Review ~ Engagement Session Guest Book

The Rubistyle engagement session guest book is one of my most popular wedding products. Every couple who has had one of these books at their wedding has been so happy to have such a personal keepsake of their day and they are such a hit with the guests. So much so that I am now offering them in my Diamond and Ruby wedding photography packages. Included in all of my wedding packages is an on-location engagement session where I will take the photos I use in the guest book which I design myself. You can also add on the guest book to your package if you choose the Emerald or Sapphire package or make up your own package.

Product Review ~ Wedding Image Box

The Rubistyle Wedding Image Proof Box is the newest addition to my product line up. These are 5.25″ x7.5″ and 2.75″ deep. I design these with a custom photo cover, printed on lustre or metallic photographic paper with a matte laminate wrapped around the box with a customized cover, spine and back.
The image box will hold 250 5X7 photos with designer borders from your wedding day. These are a stunning alternative to an album. Image boxes are included in the Sapphire Wedding Package or available on the à la carte price list. Product Review ~ Spiral Bound Printed Proof Book

Owning one of these books with all of your images is a great way to have something tangible should you decide not to purchase an album. This time it was to photograph John and Sue’s wedding. Once again the rain stayed away and everyone had a great day. I found the day to be very relaxed and stress free. Perhaps because everything was held in the one location and we were not bound by any strict timelines. As always though, the day absolutely flew for me and before I knew it everyone was dancing! Filed Under Wedding Style | 18 Comments Posted on September 15, 2009 Late last week we had a spell of fabulous weather after a disappointingly wet summer. It was rumoured to last nine days which didn’t quite happen but I think we got three or four days out of it. It wasn’t just dry. It was glorious. Warm, but not too hot, and SUNNY. Yes, that big ball of fire in the sky presented itself to us and happily stayed there all day Saturday for Susan and Allan’s wedding. I have known Susan for about four years. She met Allan three years ago and not very long after they started dating she came to me and said she had told Allan that when they get married I will be their wedding photographer! Well, fast forward three years to Saturday and there I was, capturing their special day through my lens. We weren’t to know that the weather was going to be so fantastic so a few weeks ago I bought some pretty umbrellas so we could get outside for some creative portraits even if it was wet. Well, they certainly weren’t needed but I insisted on bringing them along to our portrait session after the ceremony at Belvedere House and Gardens and using them as props anyway. At least I will have them for the next rainy wedding! Susan and Allan were married in St Patrick’s Church, Dysart in Co. Westmeath. We took formal wedding photos and bride and groom portraits at Belvedere House and Gardens and the reception was held at Bloomfield Hotel in Mullingar. Susan and Allan, I had a great day. Thanks must go to your families for making me feel so welcome. I can’t wait for you to see your photos when you get back from your honeymoon! The reception was held in the beautiful Belle Isle Castle near Enniskillen. I was delighted to be their photographer and capture all the wonderful details of their wedding day. The weather was wonderful and everything went so smoothly. I don’t think they could have wished for more! Here are a few (ok, more than a few!) photos I captured on the day.
