I just adored shooting this Marlfield House wedding last month. Amie and Sean were blessed with gorgeous weather and had an outdoor ceremony before which they chose to see each other and do a “first look”.
As a result we were able to take our time shooting portraits, which was definitely a priority for them with the added bonus that they also had more time to spend with their guests immediately following the ceremony. I love when my couples choose to do this, especially with later ceremonies, where everything can become rushed and the photography timeline usually suffers.
For photographers, this is the first wedding I have blogged since switching from Canon DSLR cameras to Fujifilm mirrorless cameras in April this year. This wedding was shot with two Fuji X-Pro2 bodies and the Fuji 16mm 1.4, 23mm 1.4 and 56mm 1.2 lenses. I use an all prime lens line up, as I did with Canon before the switch and I am loving my experience with these little beauties so far.
If you would like to see more of my work with the X-Pro 2 you can check out my INSTAGRAM where I have been posting images from this camera since April.
