An Alternative Mount Druid Wedding
Are you getting married in Mount Druid? I am Mount Druid’s top recommended photographer and I have shot more than thirty weddings there since 2013. I know Mount Druid and all its locations inside out. Well done if you have chosen to get married here, it’s a beautiful alternative wedding venue and suits my alternative and creative style of photography perfectly. I live close to Mount Druid and can easily arrange a meeting with you there or nearby in Mullingar before your wedding.

Jenny and Ian were married at the end of August in a gorgeous alternative barn wedding in Mount Druid with a ceremony in the tin chapel on site. They decided to do a first look which meant they saw each other before the ceremony and got their portraits out of the way meaning they could spend all their time after the ceremony with their guests.
Ian waited (nervously!) for Jenny in the walled garden behind the barn in Mount Druid. Jenny excitedly rushed up to him and they had a quick kiss and cuddle before we moved inside to take some portraits. I think you can tell Jenny and Ian enjoyed their portraits (Jenny didn’t stop laughing the whole time!) She looked amazing with her stunning flower crown. I am a massive fan of flower crowns, they always look so beautiful and really make an elegant statement.
This was such a fun wedding where everyone was so relaxed and really enjoyed themselves all day, right up until the dancing in the barn. Speaking of which, I am also a fan of smoke machines for the first dance. More of this please!
I adore shooting weddings in this alternative barn venue. I have shot so many here and I never tire of it. Each couple, like the venue, is unique and they do things their own way which always makes for an interesting wedding that is personal to each couple.
